During the tendering process they took time to explain the benefits of the system, its siting within the property; all in clear layman's terms. They have continued with this service when I have had a few questions regarding the software etc... From acceptance of their quotation to the completion of installation took less than a month. All being carried out neatly and considerately without any hiccups. I would recommend Jessops without any hesitation.

We had several quotes for solar and went with Wired by Jessops and are very glad that we did. Joe came to quote us for solar, a battery and a Zappi car charger. Joe gave us a couple of options and sent us a detailed quote including plans. We opted for a Tesla Powerwall 3, which has been fantastic. The main reason that we went with Wired by Jessops was Joe himself. He wasn't pushy at all, answered all of our questions and clearly knows his stuff, but we had a sense that he would do a great job, had pride in his company and seemed a thoroughly decent and trustworthy person (indeed he is)! Once we agreed to proceed, Joe gave us a date very quickly. He arranged scaffolding and all of the necessary paperwork. Joe and his team were great. They cracked on over the course of 2 days, were really great people and did a fabulous neat job of our installation. Once the installation was done, Joe walked me through the set up of the Zappi car charger and the Tesla Powerwall 3 via the apps. Our system has exceeded our expectations. It is easy to use and keep an eye on and is generating more electric than we can use (and we have two electric vehicles). We are now sorting out our export so we will now get paid for the excess that we generate. The savings we have made on electricity already are considerable. So, don't consider anyone else. We had some hard sell people trying to force us to sign up before they left the house at double the price for inferior products. I don't recommend people lightly but have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Joe and his company Wired by Jessops. They are top people, a great company, reliable, trustworthy, doing amazing work, and best of all they are local. It just remains for us (my wife Justine and I) to thank Joe and his team, they are brilliant.

It’s been a pleasure dealing with Joe. He and Toby have installed a Givenergy battery and Inverter so that we can now store the energy generated from our Solar panels and have a back up in the event of power cuts. Also hoping to move to a cheaper night time energy tariff but now need a Smart Meter. Joe has been very thorough, efficient and helpful, explaining how everything works and completing a neat and tidy installation.

Joe was super efficient, courteous and patient, explaining how the new battery system would operate and showing us how it worked in real time. On the day of installation everything happened on time and in was in place by the end of the day. He then spent time helping us install the relevant app. I would not hesitate to recommend this individual and his company to anyone who is thinking about installing any sort of electrical equipment but in particular batteries and other kit associated with solar panels.

Joe was given quite a task, as I had solar panels already installed. I needed a battery system installing to use the excess power from the panels and essentially go off grid. Joe offered me 2 alternatives at quite a reasonable price. He turned up right on time and made an excellent job. I knew what I was talking about as I was an ex-electrician but the inverters Joe installed are a little tricky. He even repaired a fault we had on the original install by someone else free of charge. He contacted the local DNO for us to get the correct paperwork we needed as these systems require it. I would fully recommend joe and his company, he is just very approachable.

Like fixing broken tiles, beyond the extent of the panels. The before installation documentation was detailed, so i knew exactly what i was getting. Very pleased with Joe and his team, who have installed our solar panels, battery and car charger. His initial quote was detailed and clearly explained everything, and he readily answered our questions. The work was done on time and to an excellent standard. A lot of wiring was needed as our meter is on the opposite side of the house to the garage where the battery and charger are located. All the wiring, which was passed through the loft, is neatly secured. Some cracked tiles on our roof were replaced before the solar panels were fitted. A very thorough job competently completed by a friendly, knowledgable and helpful team.

Re: Recent roof panel solar installation, battery set-up and Zappi EV charger completed by Wired by Jessops. There are no words that aptly describe how amazing Joe and his team at Wired by Jessops were. Right from the outset, it was immediately apparent that Joe was a very experienced and knowledgeable Solar installer and electrician. He discussed all the options and emailed through very detailed and professional illustrations and graphs showing the proposed installation and the short term and long term benefits. His quote was excellent and very competitive, and quite remarkable given that he was proposing the most up-to-date equipment, high density panels and top-notch battery set-up. However, what was even more surprising was that once the scaffolding was up, his Roofing team (yes, he has his own team of roofing experts!!) began assessing the roof and removing and replacing any dodgy tiles!! This was no quick-fix, fast-buck installation! This is how it’s meant to be done - properly! This was no drilling through the slate to fix the panels on in one day - this was the work of a Master Builder and the most highly skilled solar installer! The end result has been absolutely brilliant, it looks stunning and we are making huge savings. If you’re thinking of a solar installation in the West Country, you really should contact Joe!
