Re: Recent roof panel solar installation, battery set-up and Zappi EV charger completed by Wired by Jessops.
There are no words that aptly describe how amazing Joe and his team at Wired by Jessops were. Right from the outset, it was immediately apparent that Joe was a very experienced and knowledgeable Solar installer and electrician. He discussed all the options and emailed through very detailed and professional illustrations and graphs showing the proposed installation and the short term and long term benefits.
His quote was excellent and very competitive, and quite remarkable given that he was proposing the most up-to-date equipment, high density panels and top-notch battery set-up.
However, what was even more surprising was that once the scaffolding was up, his Roofing team (yes, he has his own team of roofing experts!!) began assessing the roof and removing and replacing any dodgy tiles!!
This was no quick-fix, fast-buck installation! This is how it’s meant to be done - properly! This was no drilling through the slate to fix the panels on in one day - this was the work of a Master Builder and the most highly skilled solar installer!
The end result has been absolutely brilliant, it looks stunning and we are making huge savings. If you’re thinking of a solar installation in the West Country, you really should contact Joe!

Joe was patient and knowledgeable in answering all my questions before I made the decision to go ahead with battery storage installation. He turned up on the day with everything required to complete the job. The installation is neat and secure and the room was left very clean and tidy afterwards. He set up the equipment in accordance with my requirements and left me with everything I required to monitor and control the system. I will use him again if I decide to add solar panels in the future. I can recommend him to anyone considering solar or battery storage installation.

We had considered many companies to install our solar unit but it was a chance meeting with Joe who was fitting a system at our neighbours property that prompted us to go ahead with Wired by Jessop's. Joe's enthusiasm and knowledge for all things solar really made the difference and it was nice to speak with someone who would actually be completing the install themselves rather than a sales rep. Over the two days of the install Joe along with Toby and Jack were extremely professional and friendly and a pleasure to have in our home. Any questions we had were answered and every detail was explained fully. We live in Truro and were recommended Wired By Jessops through a neighbour. We went to a couple of companies for a quote but after careful consideration, Wired By Jessops were the best solution and the price was what we had budgeted. It was good to speak with the main guy Joe direct and he was the one who came to look at our job and quote. There was nothing pushy at all, Joe was just really helpful and discussed things in depth with us and estimated savings were outlined at the beginning. The installation was smooth, scaffolding went up promptly, everyone arrived on time, left everything clean/tidy. With a through hand over at the end and took time to explain the system in depth for us. All in all very happy. Thank you for a great job
